Planned Enterprise Server Maintenance/Downtime on June 30th at 3AM

SWAN Member Library Staff, Please be aware, SirsiDynix will be performing planned maintenance of the Enterprise catalog server on Tuesday, June 30th at 3AM which will require downtime throughout the process. The maintenance is expected to take no longer than an hour, so the impact will be minimal. IMPORTANT: RAILS Delivery - To Do and Clarification

We've created a detailed news post to remind everyone to Be sure to notify RAILS re: Delivery<https://support.swanlibraries.net/news/2020-06/74789>. The post provides a checklist to follow. A return to delivery does not mean that SWAN's resource sharing has returned in full swing. We are still working on coordinating when and how to bring libraries back to full resource sharing capacity. But, in the meantime, delivery can and should resume if possible. This will faciliate the return of items to the owning library as material continues to be returned throughout the membership. RAILS must be notified to make your special deliveries June 17/18 & June 24/25, as well as resuming regular delivery. COVID-19 Director Survey: Resuming Resource Sharing

During our Fireside/Poolside Chat<https://support.swanlibraries.net/covid-19/fireside-chats> on Tuesday we had a discussion on when libraries would be able to return to full resource sharing system configurations. RAILS delivery will resume regular schedules, starting June 29th. Initially as delivery resumes, items will be returned to owning libraries. We need to determine when it is feasible to return to full resource sharing of items between SWAN libraries and we ask for your input.
