Riverdale PL extended closure

*** Please route to appropriate personnel *** We have received notification from Riverdale PL that they are extending their closing dates. They intend to re-open the library on March 1, 2018. Their bookdrop is not accessible during the closing. In the interim: * Riverdale PL has requested that SWAN suspend all Riverdale patron holds with a pickup of Riverdale. * Riverdale PL patrons that have placed holds and requested pickup at another library have not been suspended. * All Riverdale PL materials are not holdable. *Resolved* Record Indexing Issue on 1/23 - Database Rebuild Scheduled This Evening (After-Hours)

SWAN Member Library and Information Technology Staff: Last night, we ran a rebuild of our database index to resolve the indexing issues that occurred on 1/23. Any and all missing titles or 'heading keys need indexing' errors should be cleared up as of this morning. All SWAN services are once again available. The rebuild can take up to 13 hours (but hopefully much less,) and WorkFlows will be inaccessible throughout the process. Additionally, some scheduled Sunday evening reports may be unable to run. We recommend running these reports again tomorrow morning after the rebuild has concluded. These records are available for holds in Enterprise, and can still be checked out, but seem to be unsearchable in WorkFlows. While the scope of this issue is limited, one popular title impacted was Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House. This title is now available, following a correction by SirsiDynix support, but please let us know if you encounter any other records that seem to be experiencing this issue by emailing help(a)swanlibraries.net<mailto:help@swanlibraries.net>. We hope for all affected records to be corrected with the next overnight processing and will investigate reported records tomorrow morning.
