by Ian Nosek 09 Jan '18

SWAN Member Library Staff: Last night, a rebuild was completed on the user database, which was then followed up by a successful ADUUser report (Add, Delete, Update). This should resolve any and all of the unexpected user behavior that was encountered yesterday. If you encounter any further issues with users not displaying properly, duplicate users or the like, please open a ticket at help(a)swanlibraries.net<mailto:help@swanlibraries.net> Thank you for your patience. As a result, you may encounter users that were added, modified and deleted on Sunday, Jan 7 not properly reflected in the system. SirsiDynix will be investigating the root cause. This should be resolved by this evening's ADUUser report. Please open a ticket at help(a)swanlibraries.net<mailto:help@swanlibraries.net> if you encounter any abnormal behavior. *IMPORTANT* SWAN Membership Fees: Overview & Request for Bond Payment Schedule
by Aaron Skog 03 Jan '18

03 Jan '18

SWAN Libraries, Happy 2018! The SWAN Membership Fees for FY19 will be presented at the Tuesday, February 6, 2018 Committee of the Whole meeting, which will be held at 9:30am at RAILS location 125 Tower Drive, Burr Ridge, IL. In advance of this meeting, SWAN is requesting some information from public libraries. Based on feedback from the membership, the SWAN Board revised the public library fee formula proposed and presented by the Fees Committee. The formula now removes bond payment amounts that are used in a debt service. In advance of the meeting, *I will need public libraries to submit your bond payment schedule by January 30, 2018.* Why is a document with the bond payment schedule requested? Quite simple, it will allow us to put your library's bond payment into the formula once, and SWAN will update it each year. We will not have to bother you each year for your bond payment amount! Explanation of SWAN Fee Formula A direct link is below, but look under the menu "Membership > Fees" on the SWAN Support site. https://support.swanlibraries.net/system/files/Public/SWAN_Fees_Explanation… The online form to submit a bond payment schedule is located here: We are asking for a PDF document be uploaded. An image file such as a PNG, JPG, or GIF will also work. The online form also allows you to add comments, ask questions. This is under the "Webforms" menu on the SWAN Support site. https://support.swanlibraries.net/forms/bond-payment-submission The following 25 libraries responded to our survey in November should complete the form above by January 30, 2018. Here are the libraries that responded they have a debt-service bond payment. 1. Acorn Public Library District 2. Alsip-Merrionette Park Public Library District 3. Batavia Public Library District 4.
