Congratulations to Jim Deiters (Oak Lawn Public Library), Anne Kozak (Thomas Ford Memorial Library), and Stacy Wittmann (Eisenhower Public Library District) for being elected to the SWAN Board. Their three-year terms start July 1, 2015.
I would like to thank Amy Crump (Homewood Public Library District) and Dan Powers (Lyons Public Library) for running for the open positions. It is always great to see interest in the SWAN governance.
Rich Wolff (Tinley Park Public Library) will end his second term on the SWAN Board June 30. Please make sure to thank him at the June 4 SWAN Quarterly meeting next week for his tenure and his time as the SWAN Board President.

I have attached a corrected version of yesterday's memo regarding the running of reports. In error, the documentation stated to "Modify" and rename the new reports available to your library with the new REPORT login. The documentation should have stated to "Copy" the report and rename it.
The attached document has been corrected and the error highlighted.
I am very sorry for the inconvenience.

The Blanket Hold Wizard in Circulation is not working correctly. A bug has been identified and it is anticipated to be fixed in the next release.
Please refrain from using this wizard. If you have placed holds using the Blanket Hold wizard in the last few weeks, please check the holds on the user record. You may need to cancel these holds and replace them using the "Place Hold" wizard. As a reminder, multiple Title level holds can be placed on the same bib record when using the "Place Hold" wizard and the appropriate override.

SWAN Library Staff,
As you are most likely aware, there are some intermittent problems with the online payment system BLUEcloud Commerce. At times, when a patron pays a fine online, their Symphony Workflows account is not updated and the fine is not cleared. A patron would see a message to this effect in Enterprise, "Unable to notify the library of paid fines or fees," but it is possible they might not contact the library or attempt a second payment online.
Unfortunately there is no immediate fix for this problem. SirsiDynix has stated this is a top priority for their development team. Please review the attached memo for three suggested options for libraries to follow if you encounter this problem with a patron.
