Electronic Ballot for EBSCO Year-2 Renewal

SWAN Library Directors & Administrators- Your electronic ballot is now ready and will be sent to your individual email accounts with unique logins and passwords contained in that email. SWAN is using myDirectVote which is a platform designed for secure online voting. Your votes will be collected and tabulated, and those individual votes will be publicly posted after the ballot is closed. This will ensure Illinois OMA compliance. *Resolved* Intermittent Web Services Outages on 1/22

We believe the issue was caused by a recent change to the EBSCO Novelist service. After disabling the service, the outages and excess load on the Symphony server subsided. We will be leaving the EBSCO Novelist service disabled throughout the weekend to maintain server stability and follow-up with EBSCO to troubleshoot further on Monday.
