Please be aware, last night we countered another abnormal ADUText report, which handles our daily record maintenance and processing. This previously occurred last Wednesday, 6/23/2021.
We may encounter record issues throughout the day until SirsiDynix is able to repair the affected records. These issues will most likely impact records that were added/deleted/updated yesterday and are typically in the form of "heading keys need to be indexed" errors in WorkFlows. You may see these errors when searching, modifying, or checking in/out the impacted records. You also may not be able to search certain records via WorkFlows. A workaround for the record searching issue is posted in the Known Issue<https://support.swanlibraries.net/node/86815>.
We've escalated this issue to SirsiDynix Support. If you come across affected records, please email a list to help(a)swanlibraries.net<mailto:help@swanlibraries.net> and we'll forward them to SirsiDynix for further investigation and temporary correction.
We'll post additional updates to the Known Issue<https://support.swanlibraries.net/node/86815> as new information becomes available.

It appears that the indexing issues that have been persistent throughout the week are now resolved.
Our overnight maintenance reports concluded successfully, and the example records that were previously returning errors are now fully searchable.
If any search errors occur today, please open a support ticket with examples so we can follow up ASAP.

One of our overnight reports that handles our record indexing terminated abnormally.
Please be advised that you may encounter record errors or "Heading keys need to be indexed" messages on records that were added/deleted/updated in the past day.
We have reached out to SirsiDynix and they are currently investigating.

We are still working closely with SirsiDynix to investigate the indexing errors that are preventing retrieval of certain bibliographic records. Meanwhile, we have come up with a workaround that may help you access some of the affected records. SWAN Member Libraries & Information Technology Staff:
This evening, SWAN is migrating the SWANcom mail service to a new server. This migration will only disrupt the SWANcom service for a brief period as the server is migrated. No other SWAN services will be impacted.
ACTION NEEDED: If you have not already, please whitelist the @list.swanlibraries.net domain and/or swancom(a)list.swanlibraries.net<mailto:swancom@list.swanlibraries.net> in your email client. This will ensure emails from the new server are not routed to spam/junk folders. If you're using Microsoft Outlook, you can do this by right-clicking any SWANcom email message (including this one) and selecting Junk > Never Block Sender's Domain.
