SWAN 3/7/24 Quarterly meeting - budget presentation & approval

Hello SWAN library directors & administrators- We have our first Quarterly membership meeting for 2024 next week at Oak Brook Public Library, Thursday, March 7th at 10:00 a.m. The approval of the SWAN budget will take place in person at the meeting, with a roll call vote for representatives from each SWAN member library. We are also requesting the current budget to amended, which is detailed in the meeting packet. Consultation Booking and Ticket Submission

We have updated our support site with two new features. The first is a tool to schedule live Zoom consultations with SWAN staff, and the other is a new ticket submission form built into our support site with a helpful search tool integrated. SirsiDynix BLUEcloud Analytics Maintenance Caused Report Subscription Issues

SWAN Member Library Staff: SirsiDynix performed maintenance on BLUEcloud Analytics early today that caused some report subscriptions to be run and delivered around 3:00 am today. These reports returned zero or limited results because our overnight harvest had not yet completed. SirsiDynix resolved the issue; the remainder of our reports ran at the correct time after our harvest completed. We manually re-ran and delivered the SWAN subscriptions that ran early today. If you received any local subscriptions early today you will need to re-run them to ensure you have accurate information. We posted a Known Issue<https://support.swanlibraries.net/issue/94568> on the SWAN support site with this information and will update that if anything changes. Feel free to open a ticket if you need any assistance with your reports. Records Manager switch

Good morning: We have had some libraries reaching out to us regarding the need to switch to Records Manager mentioned in the recent RAILS newsletter. Our SWAN membership is not impacted by this switch. This switch pertains to libraries that are cataloging libraries who use Connexion Browser to do their cataloging. Our Cataloging Libraries use the desktop version of Connexion Client and this product is not impacted by the end of the Connexion Browser on April 30th.
