Well, that was before and today is a new day! Gift #2 --- Get out your calendars--- it's time to save the date for a training opportunity you won't want to miss. On February 25th, SWAN will be hosting our MobileCirc Faire. We will begin the workshop by helping you setup your tablet and peripherals (a document of recommended hardware is attached). Then the fun will begin with training on the various tasks you can perform in MobileCirc. Gift #1 --- Get out your calendars--- it's time to save the date for one of the most important SWAN events of the year. Friday, July 22, 2016 is the date of the first SWAN Annual Users Group event. SWAN Member Library and Cataloging Staff: SirsiDynix continues work on indexing headings. While a number of headings have since been dynamically indexed, it does appear that we are still receiving some "Heading Keys Need to be Indexed First" error messages. Until further notice, please do not enter new pre-cats as existing pre-cats may not be displayed and this might create duplicate records. *Important* "Heading Keys Need to be Indexed First" error message

SWAN Member Library and Cataloging Staff: We have received reports of library staff receiving the "Heading Keys Need to be Indexed First" error message in several situations including when attempting to add items or display pre-cats that were created yesterday. This appears to be related to the earlier issue of one of our critical system maintenance reports unexpectedly running long last night. We are working with SirsiDynix to resolve the issue. Until further notice, it is advised not to enter new pre-cats as existing pre-cats may not be displayed and this might create duplicate records. You may also encounter difficulty adding items to bibliographic records. We hope to have this resolved as soon as possible. Thank you for your patience.
