Spanish and Polish language notices
by Kate Boyle 02 Feb '16

02 Feb '16

Everyone - As promised as one of the holiday gifts, yesterday we ran for the first time our notices in Spanish and Polish based upon the language preference in your patrons' user record. At present, we have 2,233 user records with a defined language of Spanish. In addition, we have 23 user records with a defined language of Polish. As a reminder, a patron's language preference for their notices is defined under the Demographics tab in the "Modify User" wizard. You can start promoting this service to your patrons and updating their records now. We are planning on adding further languages in the future. If you would like us to investigate adding a specific language, please let me know. We are presently working on Russian, Ukrainian, and Lithuanian. by Ian Nosek 02 Feb '16

02 Feb '16

SWAN Member Library Staff: We're currently experiencing an issue with a hanging overnight maintenance report that would affect any cataloging. Until we're able to have that report cleared, we've temporarily halted the WorkFlows service, meaning you will be unable to login to WorkFlows until the issue is resolved. We hope to have this resolved as quickly as possible. In the meantime, please use offline circulation until further notice. Thank you, Ian Nosek SWAN System Administrator 125 Tower Drive Burr Ridge, IL 60527 Phone: 630.734.5120 Fax: 630.734.5056 ian.nosek(a)railslibraries.info<mailto:ian.nosek@railslibraries.info> http://support.swanlibraries.net
