This morning, we're investigating an issue with WorkFlows that is producing the error, "Bib Record Locked for Text Update". This appears to be related to a maintenance report that is running over the allotted nightly schedule.

Circulation ---- Attached is a memo regarding the "Clean Holds Shelf" report . On September 8th, the report run by the SWAN Office will be changed to not trap any holds. This will result in a small change to the processing of materials in your office. We are making this change to the report to eliminate the possibility of pre-mature hold pickup notices being produced.
If you run your own "Clean Holds Shelf" report(s), you will need to update the Trap Holds tab in the report as described in the attached memo.

You will hear about RAILS' plans for continuing education (CE) and consulting services, including a series of cataloging webinars, workshops on the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) and the Open Meetings Act (OMA), copyright/interlibrary loan training, new webinars for trustees, and delivery training videos, and more.

Enterprise service has been restored. There was an outage in the Midwest that affected connections for many websites and services, including SirsiDynix's SaaS products like Enterprise. ICN was able to resolve the issue, and Enterprise is now functioning as expected.

This means that while users that do not use ICN as their ISP (such as libraries on Comcast or users accessing the catalog from home) are able to connect to Enterprise, they will not be able to log in, place holds, or see item statuses.
