Green Hills Public Library District Approved by SWAN Membership

SWAN Libraries, The Green Hills Public Library District was approved for SWAN membership. The 2/3 voting threshold was met and the SWAN Board took the step of ratifying the membership vote. Congratulations and thank you to all that participated! SWAN and Green Hills staff have formed their migration teams and begun work with the SirsiDynix migration consultants setting up Symphony. We have set a tentative go-live on Tuesday, January 29, 2019. Villa Park Public Library closed 9-2 Tues, 10/23

The Villa Park Public Library will be closed from 9:00 am - 2:00 pm on Tuesday, October 23 for a scheduled ComEd power outage. Library hours are expected to resume at 2:00 pm and the library will remain open until 9:00 pm on the 23rd.

Help Us Improve the Support Site

We would like your help to improve the organization of the support site through a tree test. The tree test is online, and it should take about 15-20 minutes. You will be given several tasks, and you will show where you would find them in a "tree" or menu structure. Circ Advisory Committee Self-Nomination Reminder

REMINDER The self-nomination survey form is open for the SWAN Circ Advisory Committee 2018 election. Please consider throwing your hat in the ring. The process is very simple, just fill out the form including a brief statement about yourself and what you can bring to the table. We have 4 vacancies to fill. The form is open now and will close on Oct. 26th at noon. On the 26th, I will create the ballot for the Circ Advisory Committee election using all the nomination statements that have been submitted. SWAN members will then have until the November 16th to vote. Thank you for nominating yourself, and remember now is not the time to be humble.
