Enterprise Widget Update
by Aaron Skog 28 Jan '19

28 Jan '19

SWAN Libraries, Quick update: some good news, we re-enabled the Enterprise code "widget" which displays local library holdings in search results. Read about the issues related to this here, under the Known Issues section of our new support site: https://support.swanlibraries.net/node/66547 The SWAN Enterprise Novelist Select integration in detailed displays remains disabled for all library profiles, but we will resume work on it once we have completed the Green Hills Public Library District data load, which continues throughout today and tomorrow. SWAN Quarterly Billing Available
by Helen Pinder 28 Jan '19

28 Jan '19

----Please route to appropriate staff---- The January Quarterly Billing is complete and the invoices and checks will be mailed shortly from the RAILS Accounting Department. Documentation<https://support.swanlibraries.net/documentation/66269> has been written to help guide member library staff through the Billing Summary sheet<https://support.swanlibraries.net/system/files/Members/201901/012019%20Janu…> as well as the detail statement reports folder<http://na1-microstrategy.bc.sirsidynix.net/bcanalytics/asp/Main.aspx?evt=20…> accessible in BlueCloud Analytics Shared Reports. Library Directors have been provided with BCA login credentials. If you are a Director and do not have access to the BCA reports, please open a ticket at help(a)swanlibraries.net<mailto:help@swanlibraries.net>. Updated documentation<https://support.swanlibraries.net/documentation/66269> is now available to advise libraries what to do with these reports. Debits and credits for longoverde RB/ILL items have not been included in the Quarterly Billing since the August, 2017, revision to the Circulation Policy changed the reimbursement to 365 days after due date. The Custom Longoverdue Report (CLR) was not able to process these items until a cleanup of the patron database was completed. This cleanup was necessary to ensure the bills created by the CLR "belong" to the patron's library. The cleanup was not completed in time for the October, 2018, Quarterly Billing which means your current billing contains six months' worth of debits/credits instead of three. Please wait until you receive your statement before making payments or requesting a credit. Thank you, Helen Pinder Analyst, Member Services helen(a)swanlibraries.net<mailto:helen@swanlibraries.net> * (630)326-8716 SWAN Library Services 800 Quail Ridge Dr, Westmont, Il 60559 swanlibraries.net<https://www.swanlibraries.net/> * catalog.swanlibraries.net<https://catalog.swanlibraries.net/>

**RESOLVED** Long Running Maintenance Report - AM 1/23
by Ian Nosek 23 Jan '19

23 Jan '19

SWAN Member Library Staff: The long-running overnight maintenance reports have concluded. While it may take some time for our regular report schedule to catch up, staff and patrons should no longer encounter any errors while using WorkFlows or other software that interacts with the database. In order to ensure that our scheduled reports get back on track, please refrain from scheduling any non-essential reports until later today. If you encounter any further errors while interacting with the system, please notify SWAN support by opening a ticket. Thank you for your patience! -- SWAN Library Services 800 Quail Ridge Drive - Westmont, IL 60559 Email: help(a)swanlibraries.net<mailto:help@swanlibraries.net> Phone: 844-SWANLIB (844-792-6542) https://support.swanlibraries.net/ From: Swancirc <swancirc-bounces(a)list.swanlibraries.net> On Behalf Of Steven Schlewitt Sent: Wednesday, January 23, 2019 7:27 AM To: swancirc(a)list.swanlibraries.net; swancom(a)list.swanlibraries.net Subject: [Swancirc] Long Running Maintenance Report - AM 1/23 SWAN Member Library Staff: We're currently monitoring a long-running overnight maintenance report, ADUText, which is creating significant delays to the morning report schedule. This report is processing a higher volume of records due to the addition of Green Hills migration data, and could extend later into the morning. As ADUText and the subsequent RebuildItem report process, you may encounter several errors: * "Heading keys need to be indexed" when accessing an item record * Item records are unsearchable by title (but can be accessed by Standard Number) * Various general indexing errors when accessing or attempting to catalog item records All items should be searchable without errors in Enterprise, and any WorkFlows errors should resolve as these two reports conclude. We apologize for these delays and will send an update as soon as the reports conclude. Thank you. -- SWAN Library Services 800 Quail Ridge Drive - Westmont, IL 60559 Email: help(a)swanlibraries.net<mailto:help@swanlibraries.net> Phone: 844-SWANLIB (844-792-6542) https://support.swanlibraries.net/ _______________________________________________ Swancirc mailing list Swancirc(a)list.swanlibraries.net<mailto:Swancirc@list.swanlibraries.net> http://list.railslibraries.info/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/swancirc
