Voting Open to Admit Green Hills Public Library for SWAN Full Membership

SWAN Library Directors/Administrators, The voting is open on the recommendation to admit Green Hills Public Library District for full membership in SWAN. The admission requires 2/3 approval of all SWAN libraries. This vote will remain open until a decision is reached. Joining Fee Resolution Approved by Membership

SWAN Library Directors/Administrators, The voting in favor of the SWAN Joining Fee recommendation crossed the 2/3 threshold late afternoon on Thursday. The vote was 66 in favor, 9 against. The SWAN Board meeting agenda on Friday had an action item to ratify the membership vote. The Board approved the resolution. We have closed the voting. We will now move forward with the vote to admit Green Hills Public Library District for full membership in SWAN. Look for the SWANcom email today. Thank you all for participating! BRS phones & hours

SWAN Libraries- The Broadview Public Library District cannot receive incoming phone calls at this time, 9/21/18. We will update when their services is restored. In addition, BRS will be open 3:00-9:00pm Monday, September 24th thru Thursday, September 27th 2018, and 3:00-5:00pm Friday September 28th due to construction work. Normal hours should resume Saturday, September 29th.

Library Directors/Administrators, Reminder: The electronic voting on the SWAN Joining Fee is underway. The recommendation and electronic ballot is online at the link below. https://support.swanlibraries.net/news/2018-09-11/voting-open-approve-swan-… For a detailed background, please refer to the SWAN Quarterly meeting, which has the meeting packet, video recording, and presentation online.
