We're currently experiencing an outage of the SWAN Support Site<support.swanlibraries.net>, which is hosted alongside RAILS servers. We're working with RAILS to investigate the issue and hope to have more information soon. No other SWAN servers have been impacted by this outage.

Just a quick reminder - our database rebuild will begin this upcoming Saturday, December 5th at 6AM and will continue through the day on Sunday, December 6th. This rebuild will require the use of Offline and many services will be unavailable throughout the process. For libraries offering curbside service, we recommend prepping and checking out materials to patrons prior to the 5th to reduce the need for offline processing.

On the 5th and 6th, your library will need to use WorkFlows in Offline mode to maintain checkout functions. This database rebuild and downtime is needed to accommodate incoming records from the SWAN100 project<https://support.swanlibraries.net/swan100> to add three libraries.

Hi Library Directors & Administrators-
The meeting packet for Thursday's SWAN Administrators' and Directors' Quarterly meeting is now posted. The meeting packet is 12 pages and includes a written report on the libraries joining SWAN (the "SWAN100" project), the completed financial audit, and the planning for next year's budget. We will also provide an update on our library's COVID-19 response, Aspen Discovery, the SWAN100 project, and the EBSCO group-purchase renewal. We are monitoring tickets as they come in this weekend. Many libraries are moving to a curbside model starting Monday. Rest assured that if your library is moving to curbside only service, the system is set to support that now - no immediate changes are required in the system. We will respond to tickets requesting change to curbside only service on Monday.
If your library is closing all physical access, including curbside service, we will respond this weekend as tickets are reviewed.
