Axis360 restored in Aspen and BLUEcloud Mobile

SWAN Quarterly 12/1/22 meeting agenda & packet posted

Hello SWAN library directors & administrators- The agenda and packet for Thursday's SWAN Quarterly meeting is posted. This meeting will be held in person at Oak Brook Public Library at 10 a.m. https://support.swanlibraries.net/meeting/88737 The approval of the MessageBee service for all SWAN libraries will be completed through a vote to amend the SWAN budget. This vote will take place in person via roll call at the meeting, with 2/3 affirmative votes of those present at the meeting required for passage of the revised budget. The meeting will include a live streaming via Zoom, and access is provided on the meeting webpage above, as well as on the agenda. The Zoom will include chat for questions, but the meeting action items will be conducted by those in person. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me. Restoration of Baker & Taylor Services

Baker & Taylor reported yesterday evening that services have been fully restored. This includes TitleSource360. We have followed up by restoring all SIP2, Z39.50, and EDI access to Baker & Taylor services. All operations related to Baker & Taylor can resume. Patrons are still unable to access Axis360 materials through Aspen and the BLUEcloud Mobile app. We are will send further updates as these services are restored. Baker & Taylor outage -Library & SWAN services impacted

Libraries using Baker & Taylor services are experiencing an outage that appears to be similar to the one in August. We have a news post about this issue, and we will update the Known Issues on SWAN Support. This outage impacts Axis360, TitleSource, EDI ordering, as well as their entire support infrastructure. Possible indexing issues due to abnormal report processing

You may encounter record issues throughout the day until the next successful run of the ADUText report. We've reached out to SirsiDynix with hopes to mitigate some of the record issues as soon as possible.
