Hello SWAN library colleagues- I am saddened to share this news with you. Our colleague Sue Stupar passed away today. Sue has worked at SWAN for 28 years working diligently to improve and enhance our shared bibliographic data. I know many of you know Sue and share our grief. She was dedicated to our libraries, her colleagues, and all of you. I will share details on a memorial service as soon as they are provided to me by Sue's family. National Change of Address (NCOA) processing to begin this week

Preparations for National Change of Address processing will begin on Friday, December 30th and continue through the first week in January. During this processing window please be aware that address changes may be overridden for those patrons flagged by NCOA (approximately 38,000). While the NCOA process is underway, patron address changes will not update Last Activity Date. Upon completion, this address change setting will be set to once again update a patron's Last Activity Date with any address change. The following processing will begin on January 3, 2023. * Approximately 38,000 records will be updated with new addresses * The previous address will be saved in a patron note with "SWAN - NCOA 2022" * No patron status will change, so the ability to place holds and check out items is not impacted * Geocode data will be updated for all patrons active since the last NCOA processing SWAN will provide updates as this work progresses. Sunsetting BLUEcloud Analytics Personal Accounts

SWAN Member Library Staff, SWAN created BLUEcloud Analytics accounts for each member library to help manage subscriptions, reports, and collaboration in your library. We asked library staff using a personal account to add saved reports and subscriptions to the shared library account. The deadline for this is December 31, 2022; all personal logins will be removed after that date.
