SWAN Board self-nomination open for interested candidates

Hello SWAN library directors & administrators, There will be two seats open July 1, 2023 for the SWAN Board and the process to elect representatives begins with individuals self-nominating. Library directors and administrators should use the self-nomination form on the link below to submit your name and written statement of interest. SWAN EBSCO group-purchase renewal finalized pricing

I have posted on the SWAN Support site an update on the EBSCO year-4 renewal pricing. The price for the 84 participating libraries after RAILS completed its negotiation with EBSCO and clarified our final total has a lower price than had been listed in February. We have added some detail on how the purchase formula is created step-by-step. SWAN Quarterly meeting 3/2/23 agenda & packet posted

Hello SWAN library directors & administrators- The agenda and meeting packet for this Thursday, March 2nd membership meeting is posted for you. The meeting will be live-streamed for those unable to attend in person, however, the approval vote must be conducted in-person. EBSCO database group-purchase subscription year-4 renewal details

Hello member library directors, administrators, e-content specialists: The pricing for the SWAN group-purchase of EBSCO subscription database package was presented at the Committee of the Whole membership meeting last week on February 7th. That pricing is included in the meeting packet, and I have pulled out that pricing which is linked directly to the news post below which has all the details. https://support.swanlibraries.net/news/2023-02/94116 Any public library participating currently will automatically be included in the year-4 renewal. If you would like your library to withdraw from the group purchase arrangement, please submit your library's opt-out by February 24th, end of the day. The link to withdraw is in the news post above.
