National Change of Address (NCOA) 2025

SWAN Member Library Staff: We have received the address change data from Unique and will be updating patron records starting today. The number of patron records sent for processing was 773,650. Of those, 24,352 were returned with address changes for a change rate of 3.2%. In preparation, we have temporarily disabled the Symphony function to update Last Activity Date when a patron's address information is changed. Once processing begins over the next couple of days, manual address changes may be overridden by this update. Single Sign-On live on the SWAN website

Upcoming Symphony Database Maintenance - Thursday, November 27

SWAN Member Library Staff: Please be aware that routine database re-indexing will take place over the Thanksgiving holiday this week. To ensure the reliability and integrity of our Symphony database, the Headings index needs to be rewritten. Our maintenance window will begin after libraries close Wednesday evening and we expect this window to conclude Thursday evening. This process takes upwards of 24 hours, but due to the holiday, we don't anticipate this process to cause downtime for library staff. Throughout the duration of maintenance, WorkFlows will be inaccessible. Our Aspen catalog will remain online, but My Account features will be briefly unavailable at the start of the maintenance window. 11/25/2005 - Record indexing errors due to overnight processing issues

Please be aware, last night we encountered an abnormal ADUText report, which handles our daily record maintenance and processing. You may encounter record issues throughout the day until the next successful run of the ADUText report. We've reached out to SirsiDynix with hopes to mitigate some of the record issues as soon as possible.
