The meeting will include a presentation of the recently completed membership events led by the SWAN Board Strategic Planning Committee. The packet includes an overview of the events and the themes that emerged from the discussions with member library staff and directors.
We also have planned an overview of the second quarter SWAN projects, and an update on the information security audit and what steps SWAN has taken to address those findings.
The meeting will be held at Oak Brook Public Library at 10:00 a.m. and will include an online streaming of the meeting. Register in advance to obtain the Zoom link information.

Good morning,
This evening (June 1st), SirsiDynix will upgrade a component of our Symphony ILS called Web Services<https://swanlibraries.net/documentation/64765#section-sirsidynix-web-servic…>. Web Services brokers connections to Symphony from vendors/services like Springshare, Kanopy, Aspen (the online catalog) and more.
This operation will not affect the Symphony ILS itself or SIP2 connectivity.
The upgrade is scheduled to begin at 10pm and is expected to take approximately 30-60 minutes.

The Aspen 26.05 release is live. This release includes enhancements to Aspen Administration for managing special hours and purchase suggestion requests; improvements to the language filter; and customized templates for saved search emails.

This is a reminder that the URL to access BLUEcloud Analytics has been changed due to a server migration. The new URL is https://swan-bca.bc.sirsidynix.net/bcanalytics/asp/Main.aspx
The legacy URL will no longer function starting tomorrow, May 21st.
While usernames and passwords were transferred, we have had a couple of libraries report difficulty logging in, requiring a password change. Please take a moment to ensure you can access BLUEcloud Analytics via the new URL. If you experience difficulty, open a ticket and we will assist you.

Dear Member Libraries,
Reindexing Hoopla Flex libraries is now complete. Flex libraries will now see their titles in Aspen and the SWAN Libraries+ app. If you are not seeing a specific title or availability is not correct, please submit a ticket to the SWAN Help Desk.
If you become a Flex library in the future, you must let SWAN know if you wish to see those titles in the catalog. There is a setting that needs to be turned on, and a full Hoopla reindex will have to be done in order to bring in those additional titles.
