*Action Required* Library Policies Survey

To SWAN Member Libraries: As we migrate to SirsiDynix Symphony, we will be in touch through a series of surveys to collect information about your library. Each library has already completed a survey about hardware and peripherals in use at your location. We will send future surveys to collect information on your library's online tools, specific training needs, and more. We appreciate the time and effort you already have and will continue to put into completing these questionnaires. This survey will gather information on your library's existing policies in a number of areas. We will use your responses as we move forward in the profiling process. We will do all that we can to configure Symphony to match the settings you describe below, but cannot guarantee results. You can access the survey directly<http://fs8.formsite.com/SWANServices/form160/index.html> or by visiting support.swanlibraries.net.<http://support.swanlibraries.net/> We have included the option to create an account in order to save your work and return to it later. This is optional-creating a login is not required to complete this survey. This process is moving quickly, and we need responses as soon as possible to stay on schedule. We do understand that this is a quick turnaround. If we have not received a response from your library by End of Business on August 7th, we will use default settings for your configuration. There will be opportunities to update information like closing dates, and we will be implementing a rigorous testing process to catch other errors. This is not your final opportunity to adjust configuration settings, but the more accurate the information we collect now is, the more we'll be prepared for a smooth go live. William Leonard Library PLD (Robbins)

+++ Please route to appropriate personnel +++ Everyone- As you may be aware, William Leonard PLD, has temporarily closed its doors due to lack of funds. We have made their collection not holdable by other SWAN patrons. In addition, William Leonard patrons are blocked from placing holds online. Unfortunately, we have no additional information for you other than they hope to re-open the library as soon as they receive their funds from the State (around September). Sorry, but I have no directive from William Leonard regarding patron whose cards expire in the interim. If you should have any questions, don't hesitate to call me.
