The Aspen 24.01 release is live. This release includes updates to the Aspen LiDA and SWAN Libraries + app, including a link for fines payments, improvements to notifications prompts, and auto-selecting the patron's preferred pickup location when placing a hold.

SWAN Member Library Staff,
A majority of SWAN libraries closed due to inclement weather today, some through tomorrow as well. As a courtesy, we have extended holds that would have expired today through this weekend. Holds with "Pickup by" dates of January 12th-15th will now expire Tuesday, January 16th to avoid patrons receiving Hold Cancelation Notices for items they were not able to retrieve due to closure or weather. The selection criteria have been updated to reflect a seven year inactive time period as reflected on the Monthly Patron Record Purge page of the SWAN support site. You will see an increase of patron records reflected in the Review Inactive Patrons history list subscription you received yesterday. The records in yesterday's list will be removed on February 15, 2024. Preparations for National Change of Address processing have begun and will continue through the first week in January. During this processing window please be aware that address changes may be overridden for those patrons flagged by NCOA (approximately 33,000). While the NCOA process is underway, patron address changes will not update Last Activity Date. Upon completion, this address change setting will be set to once again update a patron's Last Activity Date with any address change.
The following processing will begin today:
* Approximately 33,000 records will be updated with new addresses
* The previous address will be saved in a patron note with "SWAN - NCOA 2023"
* No patron status will change, so the ability to place holds and check out items is not impacted
* Geocode data will be updated for all patrons active since the last NCOA processing
