SWAN Member Libraries: In this morning's SWAN E-News, we included an update on the move to our new office space. I thought I would notify you all via SWANcom in addition to that newsletter. We are moving on Friday this week. The SWAN staff contact information is changing, which includes email addresses and phone numbers. It is important to note that the old phone numbers RAILS provided us will discontinue forwarding before the month is out. That was not our decision. The phone numbers when called will play a voicemail message notifying the caller of the new contact number and the new email address and then hang up. Once we know that the forwarding has stopped, we will again notify you all. But we want you to update all of your contacts before that happens. Many of them will remain scheduled in RAILS Burr Ridge (like BLUEcloud Analytics training). Others, like the SWAN Board meeting, will be held at the new office location. We will continue to use the L2 event system for all of our events. But when in doubt, just ask us! We have some 2017 calendar strips that will be made available soon. Those will have our new 844-SWANLIB and support contacts. Fixed: Items overdue, not billed after 42 days

SWAN Member Libraries, It has been discovered that a notice configuration setting is inadvertently preventing some patron checkouts from progressing through the standard overdue and billing process. The number of affected records is relatively few. Nevertheless, higher than normal bill-notice volumes are anticipated tomorrow after the change takes effect tonight. Patrons receiving these notices may remark on the delay in delivery; however, the change should permanently solve the issue going forward and it should not happen again. **RESOLVED** Long-Running Report - Load Offline Transactions on Monday morning

SWAN Member Library Staff: The long-running Load Offline Transactions report has concluded. Regularly scheduled reports have begun processing, but please be aware that it may be a couple hours until the report server has caught up. Saturday's offline transactions that were uploaded on Sunday should now be available, but be aware that libraries that were closed on Sunday, December 4th will have their transactions processed overnight tonight. Offline exceptions reports will be sent out shortly. If there are any questions about the offline processing, please feel free to reach out. Thank you for your patience this morning! *Concluded* Symphony Server Database Maintenance Dec 3-4

SWAN Member Library Staff: Good news – this weekend’s scheduled database maintenance concluded much sooner than we’d anticipated, so the Symphony/WorkFlows server is now back online and accepting logins! When starting WorkFlows today, please uncheck the box for “Operate in Offline mode”, and login as usual. All offline circulation from the last two days will automatically upload to our server and process overnight. If you login at any time today, you should see this weekend’s transactions reflected tomorrow morning. We’re still playing some catchup with the Enterprise OPAC database, so you may encounter some anomalies with select titles. Patron logins are again permitted, however, and any issues in Enterprise should be resolved within a few hours when our scheduled reports conclude.
