Blue Cloud Analytics classes

+++ Please Route to Appropriate Personnel +++ Just a short promotion on the classes for Blue Cloud Analytics. SWAN wanted to let everyone know that beginning in April, the BlueCloud Analytics (BCA) class will be held every other week on Wednesday morning. Also, there is no longer a restriction of only one attendee per library per event. While work continues on developing an advanced class in BCA, we would like to suggest if you attended a BCA class in the Fall you might want to come again to one that is being currently offered. The reports in BCA have grown by leaps and bound since September and there is a wealth of reports to share with you. *Important* Public Web Browser issue with BLUEcloud Commerce/ProPay Payments

SWAN Member Libraries and Information Technology Staff: Due to a recent update to Enterprise BLUEcloud payment forms, the Internet Explorer based Public Web Browser (PWB) is not able to properly display the ProPay transaction page. Libraries using the IE Public Web Browser at their PACs may be unable to process payments through Enterprise and will receive payment errors when this occurs. While the use of Public Web Browser is not officially supported by SirsiDynix for use with Enterprise, they have confirmed that the Chrome based Public Web Browser is able to process ProPay payments without issue. If you are currently using PWB for IE, we recommend upgrading your installation to the current version of PWB for Chrome. PWB for Chrome can be downloaded from TeamSoftware Solutions here: https://www.teamsoftwaresolutions.com/files/PWBv3cef.zip The current RAILS license for PWB will work with the Chrome version. 2017 SWAN Board Election: Self-Nominations Now Open!

SWAN Library Directors and Administrators: We are pleased to announce the start of the 2017 SWAN Board election process. SWAN will have two open at-large position on the Board starting July 1, 2017. The SWAN Board is currently comprised of seven library directors elected from our SWAN member libraries. Board member responsibilities include: * Acting on issues affecting the long-term future of SWAN * Monitoring SWAN's finances and the overall financial health of SWAN * Maintaining open lines of communication with the SWAN membership Since our open seats are all at-large, any director can submit a statement of interest for this election. The goal is to have an open process and at the same time ensure that all SWAN membership is represented during elections. Any library director/administrator interested in running for the Board should fill out the form located at the link below: https://support.swanlibraries.net/news/2017-03-06/2017-swan-board-election-… The Self-Nomination Form will be available until Friday, March 24th at 5pm CST. Candidates will be announced via SWANcom on Monday, April 3rd. Our voting process will run for three weeks, from Monday May 1st through Friday May 19th.
