by Vickie Totton 22 Aug '17

22 Aug '17

++Please route to appropriate staff++ As promised we have assembled a spreadsheet that lists all users affected by the SirsiDynix SMS server issue. We have pulled User IDs from the notice report logs. If the same user should have received multiple notices you will see their User ID listed multiple times. The notices that were affected were: * 1st Overdue * 2nd Overdue * Courtesy * Hold Pickup * Hold Pickup Reminder It is up to you to decide if you want to contact your patrons for any of the notices, just make sure to check their records as they may have checked their accounts online or received a reminder notice in some other format and subsequently checked out or returned their material. *Concluded* Planned Enterprise Outage on Wed, Aug 16 between 12am-6am
by Steven Schlewitt 16 Aug '17

16 Aug '17

SWAN Member Library Staff – This morning’s Enterprise server migration has concluded successfully and the Enterprise catalog is now available for use. Please note that because this migration did require the full time allotted, the standard overnight harvests had to be suspended. This means any catalog updates, additions, or deletions from the last day will not be reflected in the Enterprise catalog until the next overnight harvest cycle (Symphony/WorkFlows is unaffected by these harvests). That being the case, we expect these changes will become available tomorrow morning. Following the next full harvest, we’ll also attempt to resume our Enterprise delta harvest processing, which refreshes the catalog data every hour. This was the primary goal of last night’s server migration. We’ll send more news on the delta harvesting following our testing over the next couple of days. Thank you. -- SWAN Library Services 800 Quail Ridge Drive - Westmont, IL 60559 Email: help(a)swanlibraries.net<mailto:help@swanlibraries.net> Phone: 844-SWANLIB (844-792-6542) https://support.swanlibraries.net/ From: swancom-bounces(a)list.swanlibraries.net [mailto:swancom-bounces@list.swanlibraries.net] On Behalf Of Steven Schlewitt Sent: Tuesday, August 15, 2017 9:52 AM To: swancom(a)list.swanlibraries.net; swantech(a)list.swanlibraries.net Subject: [SWANcom] *Reminder* Planned Enterprise Outage on Wed, Aug 16 between 12am-6am SWAN Member Library Staff – Just a quick reminder of the upcoming overnight downtime that will impact the Enterprise catalog.
