Partial restoration of missing checkout history in Aspen
by SWAN Communications 29 Apr '25

29 Apr '25

Good morning member libraries, The partial restoration of missing checkout history in Aspen is complete. At this time, all titles that could be restored are in patrons' histories in My Account. As a reminder of this issue, some patrons had missing titles in the catalog impacting titles checked out between January 2025 and March 2025. This issue corresponded to the server outages we experienced during that period and was resolved with our move to our new hosting and support provider in March. While we worked to restore as much lost data as we could, this is a partial restoration - some patrons may still notice missing titles. If you work with patrons who have missing titles, they can manually add titles to their history<https://support.swanlibraries.net/documentation/84949> if they wish. More details are available on the SWAN support site: https://support.swanlibraries.net/issue/94822 SWAN Library Services 915 Harger Road, Suite 260, Oak Brook, Illinois 60523 swanlibraries.net<https://swanlibraries.net/> * catalog.swanlibraries.net<https://catalog.swanlibraries.net/>

SWAN Libraries + app updates
by SWAN Communications 26 Mar '25

26 Mar '25

Good afternoon member libraries, Several over-the-air updates have been attempted for the app, but we're not seeing signs that the app is updating automatically. Patrons may still get an automatic update of their app over the next few days if they have automatic app updates enabled on their devices. At this time, we recommend communicating to patrons that they will need to manually update the app. SWAN will post a system message banner to the web catalog as well.
