Reminder to Report Your Public Library Bond Amount

Hello SWAN Library Directors & Administrators: We have heard back from 43 of the 91 public libraries thus far. For details on this request, read the following SWAN Support news post: https://support.swanlibraries.net/news/2017-10-25/fee-formula-request-91-pu… If your library is listed below, we have your information. The deadline to report is Sunday, November 12th until 5pm. We request you respond even if you do not have a bond for your building. 1. Batavia Public Library District 2. ILL_LIBS Users unable to place holds in Enterprise

We have discovered patrons with ILL_LIBS as a library, including NONSWAN_RB, CHICAGO_P and Internet Access are not able to place holds in the Online Catalog. We are working to isolate and resolve the issue. Holds placed for these users in Symphony are not affected. Our sincere apologies for the confusion and inconvenience. We will update you when we have more information. Fee Formula: Request for 91 Public Libraries to Respond

SWAN Public Library Directors, Administrators Thanks for attending our membership meeting to discuss the membership fee formulas that are proposed for next year's budget. The SWAN Board on Friday last week reviewed the discussion from the meeting and would like to explore the idea of removing the bond amount from the property tax portion of the public library formula. You can report your bond amount using the online form below. We ask that you do so by Sunday, November 12th 5pm. Please have your Circulation Manager/Supervisor complete your ballot. There are seven vacancies this year, please vote for six representatives from the SWAN membership and one candidate from the MAGIC and LINC libraries. The voting closes at noon on Monday, Oct. 30th.
