2018 SWANx Conference - Session Descriptions and Invoicing Now Available

Hello all, Based on your feedback, we've incorporated a few more features into our SWANx registration page at: https://swanx18.eventbrite.com A List of Sessions and Presenters are now available for you in the body of the registration form. Additionally, we have descriptions for your review for both keynote and breakout sessions available attached to the email. Invoicing Option Now Available for those who desire group registration. Simply choose how many tickets you'll need, and in the payment type dropdown select 'Pay By Invoice.' You will be asked to note your billing address/Attn. to or email address for billing at the bottom; please list that and I will mail or email you an invoice accordingly. You will still need to list each attendee's names separately, for lunch choices and registration packet creation. Again, if have any questions at all, need special accommodations, or feedback to share, I welcome your emails and calls! Our event will be held Friday, August 17th from 9 am (8:30 check-in) to 4:30 pm, again at Moraine Valley Community College. **Resolved**: SWAN Datacenter Outage on 5/17

SWAN Member Library Staff: The SWAN/RAILS Datacenter outage has concluded and we do not expect any further downtime today. The issue was caused by a widespread outage of ICN, the RAILS datacenter Internet Service Provider. ICN has informed RAILS that the issue has since been resolved. Thank you for your patience. ----Original Posting at 9:10am to SWANpond MailChimp Subscribers--- TIME OF OUTAGE: [9:00am on 5/17] IMPACT: All patron and library staff access to those services listed below will be unavailable during the outage. SERVICES: Symphony Server * All WorkFlows access (cataloging, circulation, etc) * SIP2 3rd Party Vendor Integration (databases, electronic media) * SIP2 Hardware/Software Integration (AMH, self-check, PC reservation, print release) Enterprise * My Account Features * Commerce * Item Availability Bookmyne MobileCirc BlueCloud Analytics SWAN Support Site, Patron Site, SWANcom LIBRARY ACTION: Please use Offline mode in WorkFlows to continue circulation.
