Reminder: Web Services Upgrade Monday 5/26

Good morning member libraries, On Monday May 26th SirsiDynix will be upgrading a component of our Symphony ILS called Web Services<mailto:https://support.swanlibraries.net/documentation/64765%23section-sirs…>. Web Services brokers connections to Symphony from vendors/services like Springshare, Kanopy, Aspen (the online catalog) and more. This operation will not affect the Symphony ILS itself or SIP2 connectivity. The upgrade is scheduled to begin at 11pm and will take approximately 30-60 minutes. Three candidates for three SWAN Board seats

The self-nomination period has ended and the slate of candidates for the three seats on the SWAN Board will be the following. Since there are the three candidates who volunteered for the three open seats, SWAN will not have to conduct an election for the 2025 cycle. Partial restoration of missing checkout history in Aspen

Good morning member libraries, The partial restoration of missing checkout history in Aspen is complete. At this time, all titles that could be restored are in patrons' histories in My Account. As a reminder of this issue, some patrons had missing titles in the catalog impacting titles checked out between January 2025 and March 2025. This issue corresponded to the server outages we experienced during that period and was resolved with our move to our new hosting and support provider in March. While we worked to restore as much lost data as we could, this is a partial restoration - some patrons may still notice missing titles.
