SWAN Member Library Staff: Please be aware, last night we encountered an abnormal ADUText report, which handles our daily record maintenance and processing. You may encounter record issues throughout the day until the next successful run of the ADUText report. We've reached out to SirsiDynix with hopes to mitigate some of the record issues as soon as possible. Resolved: Issue with Hoopla in the catalog

The issue has been resolved, and Hoopla titles can once again be checked out from the library catalog and the SWAN+ app. My Account has also been synced with Hoopla and current, checked out titles are now appearing in the catalog. Issue with Hoopla in the catalog

We have received reports that there is an issue checking out Hoopla titles from the catalog and that current, checked out Hoopla titles are not showing in My Account. Patron Point Online Patron Registration Update

Resolved: Intermittent Aspen log in issues

Good morning member libraries, The intermittent issues with logging in to Aspen that we experienced last week should be resolved. Our support vendor, Grove, implemented several measures to mitigate and block the DDoS attacks we were seeing. We've been monitoring the server and are no longer seeing issues. Intermittent Aspen log in issues

Good morning member libraries, We're experiencing intermittent issues logging into Aspen, due to a DDoS attack that is just impacting login. We're working with our support vendor, Grove, to explore all possibilities for mitigating and blocking these attacks. You may experience issues with logging in, lasting a few minutes, throughout the day. We'll send an all clear when we are confident this issue is resolved. Potential Overnight Processing Issues

Good afternoon: We would like to update our members regarding the recent challenges with our nightly indexing process. As you may recall, our bibliographic and authority service vendor, MARCIVE, unexpectedly ceased operations in December 2024. Since then, we have been unable to process our bibliographic and authority data according to our usual monthly schedule. With the start of our Backstage contract on July 1, we resumed our monthly schedule; however, this has introduced unforeseen difficulties in estimating the duration of our nightly indexing process. We are actively working behind the scenes to identify solutions that will allow the indexing process to handle the necessary data with minimal impact on your morning reports and processes. We appreciate the patience you have exhibited over the past few days and ask for more patience over the next several days as we complete the processing of the remaining data. We may experience further instances of overnight processing running into the morning. The following processes will not be up to date until the overnight processing has completed: Expired holds on the holdshelf Hold pull lists Blocking of patron records for overdue checkouts at Fine Free libraries Billing of items 42 days overdue Autorenewals Notices Please stay informed by checking the NEWS posts for regular updates on our nightly indexing status.
