Reminder: SWAN Board 2024 election e-ballot closes Friday 5/24

Hello library directors & administrators- This is just a reminder that the SWAN Board election e-ballot will close on Friday this week. Ballot Here is the ballot: https://support.swanlibraries.net/form/94619 Candidate names and statements are listed, with the voting selection below the statements. Only library directors/administrators will be able to access the e-ballot link. This is a feature SWAN also uses to restrict access to our platform logins for WorkFlows, MesssageBee, etc. Additional information about the SWAN Board can be found on this page: https://support.swanlibraries.net/board-information/85634 Password reset information The SWAN Support site login utilizes the same email account and password you have created for your Library Learning (L2) account. If you are unable to log onto the Support site, your first step would be to complete a password reset with L2, and then attempt to log onto the SWAN Support site using your new password. SWAN Board 2024 election candidate slate

The self-nomination period has ended and the slate of candidates for the two seats on the SWAN Board will be the following. Ridgeway Burns, Itasca Community Library Dawn Bussey, Glen Ellyn Public Library Natalie Starosta, North Riverside Public Library District Zach Musil, Tinley Park Public Library The SWAN Board election will run from Monday, May 6, 2024 through May 24, 2024. Individual emails will be sent to library directors/administrators who will cast a single vote on behalf of the library. For this election, SWAN will be using its Support site to restrict e-ballot access to only library directors/administrators. I will send out details via email next week, as well as a SWANcom announcement that those individual emails with the e-ballot have been sent.
