SWAN Budget Approved & Quarterly Meeting Presentation are Online

SWAN Board 2018 Election: Self-Nominations Now Open!

SWAN Library Directors and Administrators: We are pleased to announce the start of the 2018 SWAN Board election process. SWAN will have two open at-large position on the Board starting July 1, 2018. The SWAN Board is comprised of seven library directors elected from our SWAN member libraries. Board member responsibilities include: * Acting on issues affecting the long-term future of SWAN * Monitoring SWAN's finances and the overall financial health of SWAN * Maintaining open lines of communication with the SWAN membership Since our open seats are all at-large, any director can submit a statement of interest for this election. The goal is to have an open process and at the same time ensure that all SWAN membership is represented during elections. Any library director/administrator interested in running for the Board should fill out the form located in the News Item below: https://support.swanlibraries.net/news/2018-03-05/2018-swan-board-election-… The Self-Nomination Form will be available until Friday, March 23rd at 5pm CST. Our election process will run for three weeks, from Monday April 30th through Friday May 18th. The elected board members will be announced at the June Quarterly Meeting.
