Reminder: All SWAN Libraries Offline Today, Apr 30

SWAN Libraries, The 78 libraries and 19 new libraries are all offline today. SWAN staff can be reached between 8am - 10pm today at help(a)swanlibraries.net<mailto:help@swanlibraries.net> or 844-792-6542 PRESS 0 should you require assistance. Please refer to this SWAN Support Site post for the "Offline Mode Guide" and the Patron Lookup Tool we created for all libraries. https://support.swanlibraries.net/news/2018-04-27/427-update-current-78-swa… For library staff in our 19 new libraries: everyone subscribed to our New 19 News, your email addresses have now been imported into the SWANcom list. We will continue to send out communication via both lists. 4/27/2018 Migration Weekend Update

SWAN Libraries- As we head into migration weekend, we want to provide a succinct recap of offline: * Most importantly: * Offline for current SWAN libraries is Monday, April 30 * Offline for New 19 libraries is Saturday, April 28 through Tuesday, May 1 * During this time, Symphony will be down, and you will operate in Offline Circ mode * Use our Patron Lookup Tool<https://support.swanlibraries.net/content/patron-lookup> to search patrons during this time * Some Enterprise functions will be unavailable during this time (see below) * BLUEcloud Analytics harvests will be suspended until May 2, so be aware that your statistics for this weekend will be incorrect until the harvests catch up * We will send the "all-clear" via SWANcom The list of services available/unavailable in Enterprise are as follows Available: * Search catalog * Search eRC - eBooks from Overdrive, Baker & Tayler, etc. * Use services that rely on authentication (e.g. PC reservations, event authentication) Unavailable: * Place holds * Update personal information * Make bill payments * Renew items * My Account will not reflect offline checkouts Any questions should be directed to the SWAN Help Desk (help(a)swanlibraries.net<mailto:help@swanlibraries.net>).

Brief Enterprise Disruption at 11:45am Friday 4/27

April Quarterly Billing Available

----Please route to appropriate staff---- The April Quarterly Billing is complete and the invoices and checks will be mailed shortly from the RAILS Accounting Department. Documentation<https://support.swanlibraries.net/system/files/Members%20Only/BLUEcloud/BCA…> has been written to help guide member library staff through the Billing Summary sheet<https://support.swanlibraries.net/system/files/Members%20Only/BLUEcloud/042…> as well as the detail statement reports folder<http://na1-microstrategy.bc.sirsidynix.net/bcanalytics/asp/Main.aspx?evt=20…> accessible in BlueCloud Analytics Shared Reports. You will note that the January Billing does not include any credits or debits for Unpaid Lost library material. This is due to the August, 2017 Circ Policy<https://support.swanlibraries.net/system/files/Members%20Only/Circulation%2…> revision Section 4.g: "Reimbursement for non-returned lost materials will be 365 days after due date and processed on a quarterly basis." Which effectively postpones reimbursement for these types of lost items until October, 2018. If you do not have access to the BCA reports, please open a ticket at help(a)swanlibraries.net<mailto:help@swanlibraries.net> and we will send you the Excel file. In addition, we will have a BCA login created for you and supply you with the documentation you need to access these files in the future. Updated documentation<https://support.swanlibraries.net/system/files/Members%20Only/Reciprocal%20…> is now available to advise libraries what to do with these reports. Please wait until you receive your invoice before making payments or requesting a credit.
