Just a reminder for those of you attending ILA Conference that our RFP procurement process for a new integrated library system is still ongoing, and no selection has been made.
As you visit the exhibitors at ILA, they may try to probe for "insider" information: "How are the demos going? What do you think of the 3 systems that were chosen? How were those 3 selected? When will a decision be made?"
While you are certainly welcome to ask your own questions about their product, please do not comment on the process or any of the feedback you may have heard from demos. Remind vendors that we are still in the midst of the selection process and any questions can be forwarded to me, Aaron Skog (contact info below).
Please help us by passing this message along to any fellow staff members attending ILA who may not be on SWANcom.

SWAN Member Libraries & Technology Staff:
Please route the attached memo "Network Changes Memo #4: New SWAN Website URLS" to library IT staff. This memo outlines changes to the SWAN website names. Libraries will need to change to the new SWAN domain names, and all of the MLS website names will be retired at the end of October.
The following information should be provided to your IT staff and library staff responsible for your library website and computers. Please complete the following transition by Friday, October 18th, 2013, and submit a work survey upon completion. The work survey can be found at:
