SWAN is DOWN. The Internet connection with ICN is lost. We have no phones available, SWAN website is unavailable. Connections come up briefly, and might be affecting member libraries on ICN as well.

SWAN Member Library Directors/Administrators:
SWAN has an open position on the SWAN Board effective immediately. The position of "At-Large" library director has been vacated by Christine Kuhn who has left her position at Westmont Public Library to pursue a library business consulting career. Christine regrets leaving the SWAN Board but hopes to continue helping libraries in a different capacity. SWAN Bylaws require a special election be held to fill the vacated position on the Board.
Self-nominations will begin October 30th and end November 13th at 12:00 pm. The election will take place for two weeks, Monday November 18th - November 29th (5:00pm close).The new board will be announced the week of December 2nd via SWANcom.
The SWAN Board Nominating Committee has approached several library directors interested in running in the special election, however any director can submit a statement of interest for this election. The goal is to have an open process. Any library director/administrator interested in running for the Board should fill out the form below:
