The State Library has recently announced that the FY'15 ILLINET Interlibrary Loan Traffic Survey is now available. This survey is designed to collect your Interlibrary Loan and Reciprocal Borrowing activity for the period of July 2014 - June 2015. I have attached a memo that explains how to pull together these numbers by combining your III Millennium statistical reports with the new SirsiDynix reports. The deadline for this report is Feb. 29th, 2016, but I thought it best to get this information out to everyone while we still are familiar with the Millennium statistical reports.
If you should have any questions, don't hesitate to call (630-734-5153) or open a ticket (help(a)swanlibraries.net<mailto:help@swanlibraries.net>).

To All SWAN Libraries:
eRC issues have been resolved for Calumet City (CCS), Evergreen Park (EVS), Prairie Trails (PTS) and Thomas Ford (TFS).
Schiller Park (SPS) still has an outstanding eRC issue.
Rebecca Malinowski will follow up with more detail in the morning.

Subject: [SWANcom] eRC Missing Collections
To All SWAN Libraries:
In monitoring eRC collections, I have identified five libraries that are missing an Overdrive collection. This appears to be unrelated to the issue earlier this week. The issue that started last week and has been resolved involved collections not syncing properly between the admin module and Enterprise profile. In this case, the collections do not appear at all in the admin module. SirsiDynix must reestablish the collection. I am also pressing SirsiDynix to identify a reason that these collection would drop from an institution.
The affected libraries are:
* Calumet City (CCS) - missing Overdrive Default collection (Media on Demand)
* Evergreen Park (EVS) - missing Overdrive Default collection (Media on Demand)
* Prairie Trails (PTS) - missing Overdrive Advantage collection (My Media Mall)
* Schiller Park (SPS) - missing Overdrive Advantage collection (Media on Demand)
* Thomas Ford (TFS) - missing Overdrive Advantage collection (Media on Demand)
To all libraries with digital content: please check your Enterprise profiles and compare the counts of digital content to the counts in your collections with vendors.
To confirm your collection's presence in your profile:
* Navigate to your library's public profile (catalog.swanlibraries.net/xxx where xxx is your three letter code)
* Select "Digital Catalog" from the search target box (first drop down)
* Click Search without entering search terms to see a complete list of your digital content.
You will see the total count for all vendors at the top of your results (# results found), as well as counts by Electronic Format in the first facet on the left side of the screen.
If your Enterprise profile counts seem significantly lower than the number of titles you have access to directly through Overdrive, Axis 360, 3M, or Recorded Books, please submit a ticket to help(a)swanlibraries.net<mailto:help@swanlibraries.net>. Counts may vary slightly due to the syncing process (for example, titles ordered yesterday may not be in Enterprise today).

The July Monthly statistics on the SWAN website (https://support.swanlibraries.net/content/2015-sirsidynix-stats) as initially posted were in error. One day of statistics was not reported in our initial reports. This has been fixed and the statistics on that page of the website are now correct. We apologize for the error and have updated our templates to make certain this error never occurs again.

To All SWAN Libraries:
Please review the updates on BC Commerce below. Please submit any questions to help(a)swanlibraries.net<mailto:help@swanlibraries.net>.
Fix from SirsiDynix
SWAN has received an update from SirsiDynix on the expected fix for BC Commerce issues. ProPay is completing the work necessary on their API, and will then send new documentation to SirsiDynix. The SirsiDynix development is prepared to receive the documentation, after which they will integrate the changes and begin testing the updated version. Justin Swain, who oversees BC Commerce, says that the work is "pretty close to schedule." SWAN will update the membership as soon as we are notified about SirsiDynix's next steps.
Updated Reports Documentation
The BC Commerce Reconciliation report can be retrieved from Workflows in an Excel workbook. The Excel file is much more readable than the format generated when you open the report directly from finished reports. The Excel file can be downloaded using the Fixed Format Manager helper from the finished reports wizard. The BC Commerce Documentation has been updated to reflect this new information. https://support.swanlibraries.net/documentation/commerce
ProPay PCI Compliance Question
We received a question from a member library regarding PCI Compliance and the SAQ-A. Should libraries be submitting this information? We reached out to Account Management at ProPay who replied: "SAQ-A information would typically only need to be submitted once a year. ProPay would be sure to reach out to those organizations who need to prove PCI compliance when that comes. Since all ProPay accounts with Sirsi are equipped with ProtectPay, they are already PCI compliant. For now, I would suggest that no libraries need to worry about completing an SAQ-A unless they are contacted by ProPay and requested to do so."

SWAN Member Libraries & Information Technology Staff:
Microsoft Windows 10 is here, and I know many IT administrators are excited to get it installed and running at your local libraries; however, we ask that you exercise caution when upgrading to the new platform, as it has not yet been fully tested and certified for compatibility with our version of SirsiDynix WorkFlows or the Enterprise OPAC. That being the case, abnormalities may arise, potentially in the areas of user permissions, Java functionality, and printing. SWAN staff will begin testing the new Windows platform alongside SirsiDynix as soon as possible and post any discovered issues to the "Known Issues<https://support.swanlibraries.net/content/known-issues>" page on the support site, but please know that until the platform is certified, we will be unable to troubleshoot issues to the fullest extent.
The official statement regarding Windows 10 compatibility from SirsiDynix is as follows:
"With the release of Windows 10 from Microsoft this week, SirsiDynix is currently working to ensure that all product applications and services are compatible with the OS and its new browser, Microsoft Edge. Our first priority is to certify Windows 10 for Enterprise, Portfolio, eResource Central, BLUEcloud PAC, e-Library, HIP, EOS.web, and Social Library.
SirsiDynix recommends that sites not upgrade their staff workstations to Windows 10 until it has been certified."
If you have any questions about WorkFlows compatibility or are running Windows 10 and have an experience to share, please email the SWAN IT team at it(a)swanlibraries.net<mailto:it@swanlibraries.net>.

Hi Ian,
This is nothing pressing because we are still a little bit away from introducing self-check out here at SFS, but upon testing the self-pay module, it didn't seem to want to proceed forward to allow for a patron to pay for any fines. No error messages popped up, it just didn't do anything.
I was curious if there was any lines in the config files that needed to be changed so that this worked properly?
Again, this is not urgent at the moment, but if you can let me know at your convenience if there is something that should be added to make this work, it would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Marcos J. Arellano
