SWAN 2015 Meeting Schedule: No COW in Feb!
by Aaron Skog 06 Feb '15

06 Feb '15

SWAN Libraries: Directors/Administrators should note that the 2015 meeting schedule as set by the SWAN Board removed the February Committee of the Whole meeting, as well as the April, July, and October meetings. Below is the link to the schedule, located on the SWAN "Governance" webpage. https://support.swanlibraries.net/system/files/Public/SWAN_Membership_Meeti… In years prior, the schedule frequency would have set a Committee of the Whole meeting next week on Tuesday, but there will be no meeting held. Re: [SWANcom] Migration Memo #7: SWAN WorkFlows Installer 3.5b
by Steven Schlewitt 04 Feb '15

04 Feb '15

SWAN Member Libraries & Information Technology Staff: We are currently experiencing some connectivity issues with our Test server (listed as 10.120.131.40 in the documentation). While we troubleshoot these issues, please feel free to connect to our Production server (10.120.131.25) using the WFTEST login to ensure a successful installation and communication. We anticipate that these connection issues will be resolved by the release of the testing logins early next week if they're not resolved later today. Thank you, Steven Schlewitt SWAN IT Manager 125 Tower Drive Burr Ridge, IL 60527 Phone: 630.734.5130 Fax: 630.734.5056 steven.schlewitt(a)railslibraries.info<mailto:steven.schlewitt@railslibraries.info> http://support.swanlibraries.net From: Steven Schlewitt Sent: Tuesday, February 3, 2015 2:51 PM To: swancom(a)list.swanlibraries.net; swantech(a)list.swanlibraries.net Subject: Migration Memo #7: SWAN WorkFlows Installer 3.5b Importance: High SWAN Member Libraries & Information Technology Staff: Please see the linked Migration Memo #7, "SirsiDynix WorkFlows Installer 3.5 BETA", and route to your appropriate library and IT staff. This memo includes details for downloading and installing the beta version of SWAN's SirsiDynix WorkFlows client. Keep in mind that since this installer is still considered a "beta", installation is not yet mandatory for all library staff. This installation is optional for any library staff that wish to train and test the new system prior to go-live. If possible, we encourage all staff to give WorkFlows a try prior to the April go-live to complement their recent Mentor Online Training courses. https://support.swanlibraries.net/news/2015-02-03/swan-migration-memo-7-sir… Logins and directions for using the WorkFlows application will be provided alongside a memo next week. We anticipate that these logins will be ready for use by Monday, February 9th. If you have any questions/comments about the installer, please submit a ticket to the SWAN support team at help(a)swanlibraries.net<mailto:help@swanlibraries.net> or call SWAN Support directly at 630-734-5153.
