Everyone -
I regret to inform everyone but the "Throttling Fix" that was scheduled for last
Thursday was not fully implemented by SirsiDynix. SirsiDynix has advised us that they
will be implementing the "Throttling Fix" sometime this week. We will let
everyone know as soon as we are advised the "Fix" is completed. In addition,
SirsiDynix is still pursuing a new vendor to process text messages. The "Fix"
is just a temporary measure to help alleviate the problem.
Another twist was identified today by SWAN staff in testing - it appears that only Verizon
customers are actually receiving text messages. We have tested sending Manual Messages
via SMS text to several staff members and anyone with Sprint, AT&T, T-Mobile, and
Virgin carriers did not receive their text message. This situation has been reported to
SirsiDynix and a ticket opened in their support center. As we receive more information on
this newly identified problem, we will let you know via SWANcom.
