One of the most complex processes in Circulation is the handling of damaged RB material.
How damaged is it? Who's responsible? What incredible tail has been spun to explain
away the damage? We've all heard them. (You're all lending books that seep,
right? Of course you are.)
For items that are damaged, bill-ably damaged, as distinct from temporarily Unusable due
to a locked case or missing part: use the attached flow charts to process the item.

Damaged item returned by patron (both in person and found in a drop.)
