SWAN Symphony - Planned Outage on Sunday, Jan 24 at 7:30PM

SWAN Member Libraries & Information Technology Staff: On Sunday evening at 7:30pm, the Symphony Production Server will be taken offline for routine system maintenance. We expect this maintenance should last no longer than 1 hour. This planned outage will not impact the Enterprise Catalog, however, WebServices features and other WorkFlows functions will be unavailable for the duration of the update. The following services will be impacted by this outage: * All WorkFlows/Symphony functions * Enterprise OPAC Hold and My Account functions * Enterprise OPAC Item Availability * Enterprise OPAC Ecommerce * BookMyne * MobileCirc Member libraries will be notified prior to the outage and again when the system updates have finished. ICN DNS Server Update

SWAN Member Libraries & Information Technology Staff: ICN will be retiring their old DNS servers on January 31.To accommodate this change, SWAN will be making the necessary changes to the 26 libraries that are currently using the ICN DNS settings on their SonicWalls. This change should not impact daily operations or result in any downtime, and we expect the updates to be completed by Friday, January 22. This additional column when searching is not only a time saver, but a way to accurately retrieve the correct user record. The birthdate column will be visible in "Display User", "Modify User", "User Registration" and "Copy User". This can be of great assistance when you are searching a common name.
