SWAN Library Directors & Administrators: The 2014 Membership Meeting schedule has been approved by the Board and is now available for you: http://support.swanlibraries.net/system/files/Public/SWAN%20ILS%20Committee… All meetings have been scheduled in L2 so that you may add them to your Outlook calendars. Currently, they are all listed as located at Burr Ridge; however, the Committee of the Whole meeting locations may change as we work to book those meetings with member libraries. **If you are interested in hosting a Committee of the Whole meeting at your library, please contact me directly via email. In order to accommodate the group, we would need a meeting room on site capable of holding at least 50 visitors. If you have any other questions, just ask! Thank you for your consideration. Maywood re-opening on Tuesday, Nov. 12th
by Kate Boyle 11 Nov '13

11 Nov '13

+++ Please route to appropriate personnel +++ We are pleased to report that Maywood PLD is re-opening tomorrow. According to the Village Free Press<http://thevillagefreepress.org/2013/11/09/rep-welch-local-officials-maywood…>, " Library Director Stan Huntington announced the library's new operating hours: Mon. - Wed. (12pm - 7pm), Tue. - Thu. (12pm - 5:30pm), Saturdays (9am - 5:30pm). The library won't be opening Monday, due to Veteran's Day." The library will be closed on Friday and Sunday as it was previously. As you are aware, SWAN staff have made numerous changes to the loan rules, patron block table, Maywood patron holds, and Maywood OPAC options. SWAN staff will reverse all of these temporary changes and return them to their previous status by tomorrow's re-opening. If you have been renewing Maywood PLD patron cards at your library, you can begin referring their patrons back to Maywood PLD. Everyone have a great week and congratulations Maywood on your re-opening!
