Current SWAN Member Libraries, SWAN is welcoming 19 new libraries to the consortium, with a go-live date in spring/summer of 2018. Throughout the migration, these new 19 libraries will be paired with current SWAN member libraries to have one-on-one sister library relationships. Current and future SWAN libraries will be able to discuss services and products, network, share knowledge and resources, as well as strengthen relationships within the Illinois library community. We believe this is a great opportunity to welcome the new libraries, and know that both current and new members have a wealth of knowledge we've accumulated using SirsiDynix products. We're still in need of current SWAN member libraries to volunteer for the Sister Library program. We'd like to introduce our new and current member libraries at the June Quarterly meeting on June 1 (http://www.librarylearning.info/events/?eventID=24134). After we have enough current member libraries that have volunteered, we will email you to let you know what library we have matched you with, the contact information you'll want to have to interact with your sister library, and more details about what kind of interactions you might want to have with your paired library. The relationships will kick off at the June 1 Quarterly meeting.
