Good news, everyone!
Our new custom DebtCollect report is ready for deployment! This is the report that will
write user statuses to REFERRED instead of COLLECTION, softening the language used to
describe patron records who have been referred to Unique Management Services (UMS) for
their material recovery service. It will be rolled out next week beginning with our two
pilot volunteers, Acorn and Indian Prairie Public Libraries. Please be aware, if you are a
UMS client, your placement report may be delayed by a day or two while we verify the
report's performance in the real world.
The data team at UMS is aware of this project and will be working closely with us to
verify accuracy of account selection.
Please open a support ticket if you have any questions or concerns about this project. An
update will be posted later next week after we receive confirmation that the statuses are
written and the files transmitted as-expected.
