SWAN Member Library Staff: Just a quick reminder of the network migration occurring today at the SWAN/RAILS Datacenter. Between 7:30am-8:30am, we expect about a 5-15 minute downtime as the network is transitioned. Please see the message below for additional details. While an hour is being set aside, RAILS has informed us that the actual migration between the networks should only take between 5-15 minutes, as everything has been preconfigured and tested. The following SWAN services will be impacted during the outage: - Symphony Server * All WorkFlows access (cataloging, circulation, etc) * SIP2 3rd Party Vendor Integration (databases, electronic media) * SIP2 Hardware/Software Integration (AMH, self-check, PC reservation, print release) - Enterprise * My Account Features * Commerce * Item Availability - SWAN Support Site - SWAN Ticket Site (OTRS) - SWAN MailMan Service (SWANcom) - Bookmyne - MobileCirc Again, this outage is planned from 7:30am and 8:30am, but if all goes to plan, it should last no longer than 15 minutes. In the event that the outage should extend beyond the anticipated timeframe considerably, we'll issue a notice via MailChimp to notify the membership.
