This report is expected to run for several hours and will likely take us into the afternoon hours. That being the case, many of today’s reports will be delayed, but they will queue and run after the report has concluded. This includes patron notifications. We would advise staff to avoid scheduling non-critical reports today so that queued reports are able to catch up quickly following the conclusion of the running report. Riverdale PL extended closure

*** Please route to appropriate personnel *** We have received notification from Riverdale PL that they are extending their closing dates. They intend to re-open the library on March 1, 2018. Their bookdrop is not accessible during the closing. In the interim: * Riverdale PL has requested that SWAN suspend all Riverdale patron holds with a pickup of Riverdale. * Riverdale PL patrons that have placed holds and requested pickup at another library have not been suspended. * All Riverdale PL materials are not holdable. SWAN Member Library and Information Technology Staff: Last night, we ran a rebuild of our database index to resolve the indexing issues that occurred on 1/23. Any and all missing titles or 'heading keys need indexing' errors should be cleared up as of this morning. All SWAN services are once again available. The rebuild can take up to 13 hours (but hopefully much less,) and WorkFlows will be inaccessible throughout the process. Additionally, some scheduled Sunday evening reports may be unable to run. We recommend running these reports again tomorrow morning after the rebuild has concluded. While the scope of this issue is limited, one popular title impacted was Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House. This title is now available, following a correction by SirsiDynix support, but please let us know if you encounter any other records that seem to be experiencing this issue by emailing help(a)swanlibraries.net<mailto:help@swanlibraries.net>. We hope for all affected records to be corrected with the next overnight processing and will investigate reported records tomorrow morning. *Update* Possible Record Indexing Issue on 1/20

SWAN Member Library Staff: Last night’s overnight processing did not appear to fully resolve the indexing errors that were reported on Saturday. We will be running a report beginning this evening, which should clear up these indexing errors. Please note that, while the affected titles are not searchable within WorkFlows, they are searchable within Enterprise. Holds may also be placed on these items in Enterprise and the items will still circulate normally. Thank you for your patience. January Quarterly Billing Available

Please route to appropriate staff. The January Quarterly Billing is complete and the invoices and checks will be mailed shortly from the RAILS Accounting Department. Documentation<https://support.swanlibraries.net/system/files/Members%20Only/BLUEcloud/BCA…> has been written to help guide member library staff through the Billing Summary sheet<https://support.swanlibraries.net/system/files/Members%20Only/BLUEcloud/012…> as well as the detail statement reports folder<http://na1-microstrategy.bc.sirsidynix.net/bcanalytics/asp/Main.aspx?evt=20…> accessible in BlueCloud Analytics Shared Reports. You will note that the January Billing does not include any credits or debits for Unpaid Lost library material. This is due to the August, 2017 Circ Policy<https://support.swanlibraries.net/system/files/Members%20Only/Circulation%2…> revision Section 4.g: "Reimbursement for non-returned lost materials will be 365 days after due date and processed on a quarterly basis." Which effectively postpones reimbursement for these types of lost items until October, 2018. If you do not have access to the BCA reports, please open a ticket at help(a)swanlibraries.net<mailto:help@swanlibraries.net> and we will send you the Excel file. In addition, we will have a BCA login created for you and supply you with the documentation you need to access these files in the future.
