SWAN Library Directors and Administrators: We are pleased to announce the start of the 2018 SWAN Board election process. SWAN will have two open at-large position on the Board starting July 1, 2018. The SWAN Board is comprised of seven library directors elected from our SWAN member libraries. Board member responsibilities include: * Acting on issues affecting the long-term future of SWAN * Monitoring SWAN's finances and the overall financial health of SWAN * Maintaining open lines of communication with the SWAN membership Since our open seats are all at-large, any director can submit a statement of interest for this election. The goal is to have an open process and at the same time ensure that all SWAN membership is represented during elections. The Self-Nomination Form will be available until Friday, March 23rd at 5pm CST. Our election process will run for three weeks, from Monday April 30th through Friday May 18th.
