Grace periods have been extended from 0 days to 7 days, and 3 days to 8 days. This change is in effect today, September 16th. Change in grace period fine accrual does not impact fine-free circulation rules. Libraries who have delayed return to pre-COVID circulation rules, due to fine accrual while items are in quarantine, may now consider this grace period extension when determining circulation policies for your library. The policy loading for our new libraries, Glenside (GSD), Roselle (ROD), and Warrenville (WVD) has completed. You may resume normal processing and log in as normal. While the data for our new libraries will not be loaded in production until November-December, you will notice policies associated with these agency codes.

SirsiDynix has resolved the issue and corrected 4,495 records that were in an error state. SWAN Bib Services staff have not encountered any further records in question, but we'll keep a watch throughout the day and report if any further significant issues occur via the Known Issue<https://support.swanlibraries.net/node/77751>.

One of our critical overnight maintenance reports responsible for committing cataloged record changes to the database has terminated abnormally. We've submitted an urgent case with SirsiDynix support to investigate the issue further and determine what impact this may have on our daily processes.
Please proceed to login and use WorkFlows normally, however cataloging functions and access to certain impacted records may result in "Heading not found" or "Keys need to be indexed" errors. Additionally, you may have trouble searching for certain records through WorkFlows.
