To SWAN Library Staff:
There will be a few minutes of Enterprise downtime tonight at 10 PM. At that time,
SirsiDynix will be restarting the Enterprise server. The interruption to service should be
less than 5 minutes.
The server is being restarted to resolve an issue with the delta harvest scheduler. The
delta harvests should run every hour to reflect changes made in Workflows to Enterprise.
You can read more about the harvest process on the support site FAQ
page<https://support.swanlibraries.net/content/migration-faq#entgeneral&…al>. As of this
morning, the delta harvests are not responding to the schedule we have set for them, and
SirsiDynix says that a restart of Enterprise will resolve the issue. In the meantime, SWAN
staff will run manual harvests throughout the day. One recently began at 11 AM, and we
will run additional harvests at 3 PM and 6 PM.
After the server is restarted, you will also notice some small changes to wording in
Enterprise recommended by library staff and the DUX committee.
o On the hit list page, in the sort by drop down:
§ Publication Date (Descending) will be changed to Publication Date (Newest First)
§ Publication Date (Ascending) will be changed to Publication Date (Oldest First)
o On the detail display, the tab labeled "Available for Checkout" will be
labeled "Copies"
