SWAN Member Library & Information Technology Staff:
To further investigate the issues experienced earlier today, SWAN IT has a network outage
planned for 9:15pm this evening. This outage will temporarily affect access to the
Symphony WorkFlows client and some functions of the Enterprise OPAC. We will send
additional SWANcoms during that outage as an update of our progress, but we anticipate the
outage should last no longer than an hour or two.

To All Library Staff:
Symphony is now back online, and you may resume regular circulation. Please log out of
Workflows offline mode and log back into Workflows, being sure to uncheck "operate in
offline mode" and using your regular credentials. Your offline files will upload to
the server automatically, and SWAN will process them centrally.
Additional maintenance will take place this evening after library operating hours, and an
update will be sent when that work is complete.
We apologize for the inconvenience to you and your patrons and thank you for your patience
this morning.

SWAN staff are continuing to troubleshoot the outage. Please operate in Offline Mode until
we are able to restore service.
As a reminder, offline documentation is available at

In brief, open Workflows, being sure the "Operate In Offline Mode" and
"Show This Window On Next Startup" boxes are both checked. In offline session
settings, set user access to OFFLINE.

We are experiencing a temporary outage with Symphony. This interruption of service effects
Workflows and Enterprise. While you can still search Enterprise, you will not be able to
log in or place holds, and availability information will not be available.
We are aware of the issue and working to resolve it as quickly as possible. We will send
an update as soon as one becomes available.
