SWAN Library Directors & Administrators- Just a reminder and a point of clarification: Those libraries that would like to opt-out of the EBSCO database group purchase, please use this online form to notify SWAN: https://support.swanlibraries.net/forms/80756 (Support site login required) *The e-ballot vote that closed on Monday is not your library's indication of opting out.* If you submit using the form above, it will automatically respond to you with a confirmation email receipt, and it opens a SWAN support ticket. Thus far I have opt-outs submitted by three libraries. The deadline to opt-out is Sunday, February 28th and it is perfectly fine to wait another week if you are deciding to remain in the deal. We will now move forward with libraries officially opting out of the EBSCO database group purchase. The online form below is for libraries that wish to opt-out. This form will need to be completed by end of day February 28th. Those public libraries that do not op-out will be automatically included in the year-2 renewal. The final EBSCO pricing will be posted on Monday, March 1st. I will do my best to try to make the SWAN EBSCO pricing clear for those that need to see the amount for your library in order to make a decision. I have attached the vote reports to this email.
