Just a reminder and a point of clarification:

Those libraries that would like to opt-out of the EBSCO database group purchase, please use this online form to notify SWAN:

*The e-ballot vote that closed on Monday is not your library’s indication of opting out.*

If you submit using the form above, it will automatically respond to you with a confirmation email receipt, and it opens a SWAN support ticket. Thus far I have opt-outs submitted by three libraries. The deadline to opt-out is Sunday, February 28^th and it is perfectly fine to wait another week if you are deciding to remain in the deal.

SWAN Library Directors & Administrators—

The vote completed at the end of the day yesterday with an approval for allowing the year-2 EBSCO database group purchase with an option for libraries to op-out. We will now move forward with libraries officially opting out of the EBSCO database group purchase.

The online form below is for libraries that wish to opt-out. This form will need to be completed by end of day February 28^th. Those public libraries that do not op-out will be automatically included in the year-2 renewal.
