Due to an unexpected system error, emails sent from the Symphony/WorkFlows server were not delivered to patrons or staff this Saturday or Sunday. This includes all emailed notices, reports, and receipts.
We determined that the issue resulted from a misconfigured service following recent system updates. We have resolved the issue and the server has resumed sending all emails. However, we have been unable to resend emails that should have been delivered to patrons and staff throughout the weekend. We will continue to review options to capture these missed notices into Monday and will provide updates to the Known Issue<https://support.swanlibraries.net/node/77451> as they become available.

Last week we sent an email with the attached spreadsheet listing the EBSCO access links. There were several that were not working. All links are working now.
There are two important changes to note. If you have already added these links to your website, you'll want to update both of them as the links have changed since last week. Previously, Science Reference Center used the EBSCOhost interface but is now a separate interface. Biography Reference Bank (one of the four available for selection) was formerly named Biography Reference Center, and along with a name change, it moved from a separate interface to the EBSCOhost interface.

Article Search is also live with new selections.
We've scheduled a SWAN EBSCO Statistics Training for October 7, 2020. In this training, we'll go over how to pull and read COUNTER 5 reports. You can find it on L2, and there is no registration necessary.

EBSCO sent an alert reporting a service issue for EBSCO links and EDS. I've added it to the Known Issues on the SWAN site. As soon as it is resolved, I'll send a notification via SWANcom.

EBSCO Customer Support has received reports of customers receiving "Potential Security Risk" errors when attempting to access EBSCO resources. Our engineering teams are currently aware of the cause of this issue and are working to resolve it. We will update this page when more information is available.

Attached is a spreadsheet with the EBSCO links for those you selected for the EBSCO group purchase. You can find your library by scrolling across the tabs at the bottom. There are a handful of links that are not working yet. We've highlighted those in yellow. We are working with EBSCO to get these fixed and will let you know as soon as they are working.
We've tested all of these remotely through Open Athens authentication. Inside the library, they should go directly to the database. If they are not, then please send a list of your library IP ranges in a help ticket to help(a)swanlibraries.net<mailto:help@swanlibraries.net>. We will need to confirm we have the correct IPs on file with EBSCO.
We've also created a SWAN Patron Site. You can copy and paste the access links from there as well. This page isn't live yet because we want to confirm that all links are working before we enable it. We had a brief outage of our VPN service around 3pm causing all library tunnels to reconnect. Most reestablished their connections quickly, but you likely lost your connection to WorkFlows. If that's the case, please restart your WorkFlows client and attempt to log back in. The VPN may take up to 10 minutes to reestablish completely.
