BLUEcloud Commerce Is Not Available

SWAN Member Libraries, Libraries are reporting they receive a "BLUEcloud Commerce is not available" message after patrons swipe their credit cards at the ProPay swipes at circulation desks. We have opened a case with SirsiDynix to have them investigate this issue. PayPal bill payment on Aspen is not affected by this issue; you can direct patrons there for bill payment until this issue is resolved. National Change of Address (NCOA) processing to begin this week

Preparations for National Change of Address processing will begin on Friday, December 30th and continue through the first week in January. During this processing window please be aware that address changes may be overridden for those patrons flagged by NCOA (approximately 38,000). While the NCOA process is underway, patron address changes will not update Last Activity Date. Upon completion, this address change setting will be set to once again update a patron's Last Activity Date with any address change. The following processing will begin on January 3, 2023. * Approximately 38,000 records will be updated with new addresses * The previous address will be saved in a patron note with "SWAN - NCOA 2022" * No patron status will change, so the ability to place holds and check out items is not impacted * Geocode data will be updated for all patrons active since the last NCOA processing SWAN will provide updates as this work progresses. SWAN Quarterly 12/1/22 meeting agenda & packet posted

Restoration of Baker & Taylor Services

Baker & Taylor reported yesterday evening that services have been fully restored. This includes TitleSource360. We have followed up by restoring all SIP2, Z39.50, and EDI access to Baker & Taylor services. All operations related to Baker & Taylor can resume. Baker & Taylor outage -Library & SWAN services impacted

Libraries using Baker & Taylor services are experiencing an outage that appears to be similar to the one in August.
