We continue to observe failed scheduled harvest tasks and are still working with SirsiDynix to determine the cause of the issue. In the meantime, we've been able to run the harvest manually to update affected records, so this issue is no longer noticeable when navigating records in Enterprise. Records should be current to changes made within the last day.

The recent news of the Dr Seuss Enterprises decision to no longer publish 6 titles has created a surge of interest in these 6 titles held within SWAN member libraries. We are experiencing a number of inquiries from library staff on how to recall titles sent out on ILL, or on ways to manage these titles in the short term while library leadership decides on the best approach (change to local holds only, change to local reference collection, etc.).
We have some recommendations on various approaches within our Symphony ILS for you to consider. Please refer to the SWAN news post below:
