Batavia PL items temporarily non-holdable to other SWAN libraries

SWAN Member Libraries, Batavia Public Library is in the process of applying RFID tags to their collection. Batavia's items will not be holdable to other SWAN libraries for the duration of this process. If Batavia is the only SWAN library that owns an item, please feel free to call 630.879.1393 and request that they send the item to your library. BLUEcloud mobile test app available

Good evening, The BLUEcloud mobile test app is available for library staff to preview your app. SWAN has scheduled a go-live date of July 15th at which time the app will be available on the Apple and Android app stores for your patrons. subscription database changes

2019 SWAN Expo Annual Conference -- Registration is Open!

Hello SWAN Members, Registration is now open for this year's annual conference, SWAN Expo (SWANx19). Our event will be held Friday, August 16th from 9 a.m. (8:30 a.m. check-in) to 3:30 p.m., again at Moraine Valley Community College. Please visit out event page on the SWAN support site for more information on this year's sessions and to register: https://support.swanlibraries.net/meetings-trainings/annual-conference We are using Eventbrite to manage registration, the cost of which is $30 per staff person. You will be asked for your lunch option during registration and receive a survey link in your confirmation email to indicate which breakout sessions you are interested in. This survey feedback will help us better plan room sizing and ensure we have space properly aligned-you will not be locked into your choices. If you need to have your library invoiced for the event, rather than pay by credit card, the Eventbrite registration allows for that. Just click under the payment options to get the option for invoicing. Libraries can buy multiple tickets (up to 10) and register all of the staff you wish to attend.
